The Politehnica University of Timișoara, through CeL and CM, propose a project that combines art, technology and history, offering us a journey into the past to discover the stories behind the cultural and historical centers of Timișoara.
It is a collection of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) available only during 2023, which aims to highlight the heritage and history of our city, thus managing to frame blockchain technologies in a unique way in the environment academic and local culture. The university initiated actions regarding the adoption of blockchain technologies in education and creative industries, in 2020, also within the “EBSI4RO: Connecting Romania through Blockchain” project, included in the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI).
