ARIES-TM supported the participation of 14 Romanian companies at MWC Barcelona 2023

The Romanian Association for the Electronic and Software Industry, Timișoara branch (ARIES-TM) supported the participation of 14 Romanian companies at MWC Barcelona 2023, the largest and most influential connectivity event in the world, which took place between 27 February-2 March 2023.

The MWC23 edition brought together over 88,500 participants from 202 countries, over 2,400 exhibitors, sponsors and partners, 1,000 speakers and leaders in the field, 196 delegates from the ministerial program from over 150 countries, almost 70 ministers, more than 2,400 journalists and industry analysts from around the world, and an average of 10,000 meetings organized daily through the event app.

The main theme of the congress “Velocity” was discussed in several panels, which included the topics of 5G, Reality+, OpenNet, FinTech and Digital Everything, including GSMA’s Open Gateway initiative.

This year’s show provided an excellent platform to stimulate innovation, networking, the creation of new ecosystems and to provide decision makers with a real opportunity to do business.

Also, 4YFN (4 Years from Now), MWC’s well-known program, presented and connected startups, investors and companies to jointly launch new business projects. Thus, the exhibitors’ stands, the workshop sessions and conferences with famous speakers, the launches of new products, all these proved once again that MWC is the ideal place to see tomorrow’s technology.

During the four days of the event, 14 innovative Romanian companies within the national pavilion promoted the latest technological products and services in the field. United under the motto “romaniaIT. Creative Talent, Technical Excellence“, these companies have proven that the Romanian business environment is increasingly complex and competitive, that they are keeping up with market requirements and that Romania is capable of developing and delivering quality products and services at the international level. The Romanian companies present at the 2023 edition were: ASSIST SOFTWARE, ASTI AUTOMATION, BUSYMACHINES, CLUSTER POWER, FREE WIFI SYSTEM, JUNO SOFTWARE, LIFTUP SOLUTIONS, QUALTEH JR, R SYSTEMS COMPUTARIS EUROPE, ROWEB DEVELOPMENT, SIMARTIS TELECOM, SOFTECH, VISUAL FAN, ZYNK SOFTWARE.

The Romanian participation at the largest and most famous mobile technology fair in the world was organized by the Romanian Association for the Electronic and Software Industry, Timișoara branch (ARIES-TM), with the support of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism.
