Romania was present for the second time with a national pavilion at CES Las Vegas, the most powerful technological event worldwide, which attracts technology companies, professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world every year, and was held between January 9-12 2024.
With more than 4,300 exhibitors, including a record number of more than 1,400 startups in Eureka Park, more than 135,000 attendees from 150 countries, more than 5,000 content creators globally and 250 conference sessions with more than 1,000 speakers, CES was an impressive setting for unveiling the innovative trends shaping the future and addressing global challenges.
The theme of the event, “All Together. All On.” included key discussions on artificial intelligence, mobility, sustainability, digital health, gaming and e-sports. The focus was on the immense potential of artificial intelligence to improve life through cutting-edge applications, transforming the way we communicate, do business and care for each other.
CES covered a wide range of fields, including laptops, wearables, health and beauty, smart-home technology, televisions, automotive and electric vehicles, giving attendees the opportunity to discover new releases in various fields.
Among the 4300 exhibitors, 11 competitive and innovative Romanian companies participated in the national pavilion under the motto “romaniaIT. Creative Talent, Technical Excellence“. They had the opportunity to showcase their latest innovations, products and solutions in the field of technology, thus contributing to increasing brand awareness. They also had the opportunity to analyze market trends to stay abreast of the latest innovations, establish business contacts, meet business partners, and last but not least, stay abreast of the real needs of society.
Romanian companies are becoming increasingly competitive in the context of technological development and the accumulation of know-how. By aligning with the most demanding requirements of international standards and adapting to technological innovations, Romanian entrepreneurs are becoming more and more present and active in the European and global competition.

Romania’s participation at CES was remarkable, comparable to that of international competitors, being organized by the Romanian Association for the Electronic and Software Industry, Timișoara branch (ARIES-TM), with the support of ARICE (the Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade).
