Timișoara City Hall took the first big step in this direction by starting the procedure for acquiring the Smart City Strategy and Digital Transformation of Timișoara Municipality.
The strategy will be implemented together with the Timisoara community. The project team will consist of a representative of the mayor’s office, together with a group of volunteer experts from the community and an external consultant who will be chosen following this procurement procedure and will outline the necessary steps that the municipality will take in the process of elaboration of the strategy, as well as of the objectives until 2027.
The Smart City strategy will also give a clear picture of the projects that will incorporate Smart City components that the Timișoara City Hall will submit on non-reimbursable funds and that will transform the city into a 21st century one.
