Romania maintains an active presence on the global tech stage through its participation in London Tech Week, the UK’s flagship technology event, held from 8–12 June 2026 at Olympia London as part of its 13th edition.
The event gathered over 30,000 participants from 128 countries, more than 250 exhibitors, and 400+ international speakers, reinforcing its role as a leading global platform for innovation, partnerships, and emerging tech trends. Artificial intelligence was the central theme this year, featured across the entire programme, from main-stage talks to breakout sessions and informal discussions.
The festival programme featured six main stages across Enterprise World and Startup World, alongside 50+ fringe events that enabled networking and collaboration across the global tech ecosystem.
Romania was represented by a national pavilion coordinated by ARIES-TM (Romanian Association for the Electronics and Software Industry, Timișoara branch), with the support of ARICE (Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade). The participation provided international visibility for Romanian tech companies, which showcased their innovations and digital solutions to a global audience. Exhibiting companies included High Contrast, Isoskills, Mejix, nLight Services, abac (Red Abacus Development), Redbee Software, Reshape Digital, Procesio (Ringhel Team), Roweb, and 7code.
Over the three days of the exhibition, Romanian companies showcased interactive demos, AI-powered solutions, and digital platforms for business process transformation, along with applications across fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, smart cities, and HoReCa. The participation enabled new partnerships, investment discussions, and connections with innovators worldwide.
Among the visitors to the stand were Her Excellency Laura Popescu, Ambassador of Romania to the United Kingdom, and Ms. Nicoleta Teodorovici, Consul General of Romania in Manchester, underscoring the growing collaboration between the Romanian and UK tech ecosystems.
Romania’s participation in London Tech Week reinforces its position as an emerging tech hub and a relevant player in the global innovation ecosystem, giving Romanian companies direct access to international markets and leading tech industry stakeholders.
