Between 05-08 January 2023, Romania participated for the first time with a national pavilion at CES Las Vegas (Consumer Electronics Show), the largest and most famous technology fair in the world.
The CES 2023 edition attracted more than 115,000 industry professionals, more than 3,200 exhibiting companies, including 1,000 startups, 4,800 media participants from 69 countries, marking the largest global technology event. CES 2023 showcased the next era of innovation in transportation and mobility, digital health, sustainability, Web3, Metavers and more.
The Romanian Pavilion benefited from a very good visibility, being centrally located, in the area intended for countries that were present with national stands, such as the European Pavilion, Austria, Germany, Canada, France.
United under the slogan “romaniaIT. Creative Talent, Technical Excellence“, Romanian companies promoted the newest products and innovative technological solutions in the field, together with other giants of the cutting-edge technology industry. The Romanian companies present at the 2023 edition were ADAPTA ROBOTICS & ENGINEERING, CLUSTER POWER, CODE AGILE, ELECTROARGES, FUTURE TENSE TECHNOLOGIES, KINDERPEDIA, RINF OUTSOURCING SOLUTIONS, STONE SOUP TECH, WEB WIN GROUP NET.
Thanks to the rich portfolio of products and technological solutions, Romania managed to attract visitors from countries such as the US, Brazil, Chile, Nigeria, Ghana, Romania, Ireland, Germany, Canada, China, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, Hungary, Great Britain, France, South Korea.
Romania’s presence at the biggest technology show is aimed at promoting quality Romanian products and services with high added value, increasing the degree of internationalization of Romanian companies, and the competitiveness of Romanian products for export.
The Romanian participation in the largest and most famous technology fair in the world was organized by the Romanian Association for the Electronic and Software Industry, Timișoara branch (ARIES-TM), with the support of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism.
