Linnify, a Romanian software and AI company and a member of our community, has been shortlisted for SXSW 2027 in Austin, one of the world’s leading events at the intersection of technology, innovation, and culture.
With tens of thousands of attendees from more than 90 countries, SXSW brings together entrepreneurs, tech leaders, creatives, and industry experts to explore the ideas and technologies shaping what comes next.
Linnify’s proposed session, A Day in the Future with AGI, takes a fresh look at the future of AI through a provocative question: what if the “G” in AGI stood for “Governed” rather than “General”? The session explores what that shift could mean for the way we build, use, and live alongside increasingly intelligent systems.
The final selection also includes a public vote, giving the community a chance to help bring the sessions they want to see to the SXSW 2027 programme.
For Linnify and Romania’s tech ecosystem, making it to the SXSW stage would be more than a milestone for one company. It would be a chance to bring a Romanian perspective to the global conversation on the future of AI, governance, and how technology is shaping everyday life.
