On April 29, 2026, ARIES-TM joined a new session of the Romanian Export Council, alongside key export associations and federations. The meeting focused on recent progress and the next steps to better support Romanian companies in expanding to international markets.
Daniel Giurea, President of ARIES-TM, presented the strong results achieved from trade fairs organized in the first four months of the year, which offered important opportunities for Romanian companies to showcase their solutions and build new partnerships. ARIES has also secured approval for 8 international exhibitions planned for 2026, aiming to strengthen its presence in established markets and explore new, high-potential opportunities.
Another key topic discussed at the meeting was the performance of Romania’s IT&C sector, presented by Bogdan Moldovan, President of ARIES.
According to official data from INS and BNR, the IT&C sector ranks first in Romania’s services export balance, reaching €11.52 billion in exports in 2025. It represents 26% of the country’s total services exports, with a surplus of €7.12 billion.
These results underline the sector’s strong contribution to the economy and the importance of continued support for IT&C companies in Romania.
ARIES continues to support Romanian tech companies by helping them access the Export Promotion Program (PPE), a government initiative that opens doors to international trade fairs and new market opportunities.
The program encourages companies to expand abroad and build new international partnerships, while ARIES remains committed to actively supporting their global growth and success.
