Between October 13 and 17, 2025, Romania participated with an exceptional national pavilion at GITEX Global Dubai (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition), the world’s premier event for technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence. The exhibition gathered cutting-edge technologies and brought together leading innovators and industry pioneers from across the globe.
The 45th edition of GITEX Global shattered attendance records, uniting over 6,800 companies, 2,000 startups, delegations from 180 countries, more than 200,000 tech executives, 1,200 investors, over 400 government institutions, and more than 40 unicorns. Over five action-packed days, the event showcased cutting-edge innovations in AI, quantum computing, biotech, data, semiconductors, and physical AI, highlighting the technologies shaping the future.
The United Arab Emirates is emerging as a global leader in digital transformation, with GITEX GLOBAL serving as a premier platform for innovation and international investment. At the Expand North Star showcase, founders from over 100 countries connected directly with investors managing $1.1 trillion, sparking real-time partnerships and project launches.
For ARIES-TM, participating in world-class events is key to staying at the forefront of digital innovation. In partnership with ARICE, Romania’s national pavilion at GITEX Global brought together 12 leading tech companies, showcasing their innovative solutions, exploring new market opportunities, and building valuable connections. Featured companies included Axigen, .lumen, Expertware, Mejix, nLIGHT MEDIA, Top Digital Service Providers, Qualteh, Sigma Group, Simartis, Thinslices Development, TrustPass, and Xmartware Consulting.
Over five days, pavilion visitors explored a diverse array of cutting-edge technologies, including smart glasses for the visually impaired, all-in-one email server solutions, cybersecurity platforms, digitalization tools for multiple industries, advanced hardware and software, eSIM services, and decentralized digital identity wallets.
The standout moment for Romania came when .lumen took first place at the Supernova Challenge 2025 – Digi Health Award, earning $10,000 and global recognition among hundreds of applicants. This impressive win also boosted visitor traffic to Romania’s pavilion.
GITEX GLOBAL 2026 is set to enter a new era at its brand-new venue, Expo City Dubai, running from December 7–11, 2026. The event will extend beyond traditional exhibition halls, embedding technology across the city and Dubai’s vibrant lifestyle, culture, and tourism scene. Designed to encourage broader networking and longer stays, GITEX 2026 promises an immersive experience for all participants.
