From April 20\u201324, 2026, 32 Romanian companies participated in Hannover Messe<\/a>, the world\u2019s leading international trade fair for the manufacturing industry, held in Hannover, Germany. The companies showcased their innovations across three national pavilions: AUTOMATICA, ENERGETICA and MECHANIK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

This year\u2019s edition highlighted the crucial role of advanced technologies<\/strong> in shaping the future of industry. Artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, digitalization and energy infrastructure<\/strong> are emerging as key pillars of industrial transformation, driving greater production efficiency and strengthening global competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n

The event attracted approximately 110,000 visitors<\/strong> from around the world and featured over 3,000 exhibiting companies<\/strong> across key sectors, including mechanical engineering, electrical and digital industries and the energy sector. Attendees explored more than 14,000 innovative products and solutions.<\/strong> Despite a challenging global economic environment, the trade fair maintained a strong international presence, with nearly 40% of participants coming from outside Germany.<\/p> \n \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/section><\/p>\n\n

Under the motto \u201cThink Tech Forward<\/strong>,\u201d Hannover Messe 2026 highlighted innovation and the future of industry, with Brazil as the Partner Country<\/strong>, recognized for its leadership in sustainable industrial transformation and as the largest economy in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n

Despite challenges facing European industry, such as high costs, complex regulations, and geopolitical uncertainty, the event highlighted that practical solutions are emerging. Companies continue to invest in future-oriented technologies<\/strong>, drive innovation forward<\/strong>, and explore new market opportunities<\/strong>, while strong international interest and ongoing projects underscore the sector\u2019s resilience and dynamism.<\/p> \n \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/section><\/p>\n\n

Romania was represented by a delegation of leading professionals and industry experts, showcasing the country\u2019s engineering tradition and innovation on the international stage.<\/p>\n\n

In the AUTOMATICA section<\/strong>, 12 Romanian companies<\/strong> presented advanced technologies and applied production solutions, showcasing efficient, industry-ready approaches tailored to the needs of modern manufacturing: ASTI Automation, Fluid Struct, High Contrast, Jibe Company, Qualteh, RebelDot, Redbee Software, Reshape Digital, RomSoft, Ropardo, Wirtek, and Yalos Solutions<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the main exhibition, participants took part in networking sessions<\/strong> and dedicated meetings<\/strong> on investment and international cooperation<\/strong>, helping to foster new business partnerships.<\/p>\n\n

Romania\u2019s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, Adriana St\u0103nescu<\/strong>, visited the stands of the 32 Romanian companies, encouraging them to seize opportunities in the German market and develop strategic partnerships. She also emphasized the importance of promoting Romanian industry and its potential for international expansion.<\/p> \n \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/div> \n<\/section><\/p>\n\n

The participation of Romanian companies at Hannover Messe 2026 was supported by ARIES<\/strong> (The Romanian Association for the Electronics and Software Industry) and financially backed by ARICE<\/strong> (The Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade), helping strengthen their presence on the German market and facilitating integration into international business networks.<\/p>\n\n
