Over the years, Romania has strengthened its position as a leader in the tech market, participating for the tenth time with a national pavilion at the world’s most influential connectivity event, MWC Barcelona<\/a>, held from March 3 to 6, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Under the event theme “Converge. Connect. Create<\/strong>.”, this year’s edition highlighted technological and digital changes, addressing sub-themes such as “Our Digital DNA<\/em>“, “Game Changers<\/em>“, “Enterprise Reinvited<\/em>“, “Connect X<\/em>“, “5G Inside<\/em>“, and “AI<\/em>“. Artificial Intelligence was undoubtedly the buzzword on the lips of the participants.<\/p>\n\n

The 2025 edition of MWC Barcelona welcomed 109,000 participants<\/strong> from 205 countries<\/strong>, over 2,900 exhibitors,<\/strong> sponsors, and partners, 1,200 speakers<\/strong> and thought leaders, and more than 2,900 journalists and industry analysts<\/strong> from around the world. The GSMA Ministerial Program brought together 188 delegations<\/strong> from 148 countries<\/strong> and 40 intergovernmental organizations<\/strong>, 66 ministers<\/strong>, and 111 heads of regulatory authorities<\/strong>. 4YFN<\/a> hosted over 1,000 exhibiting startups<\/strong>, nearly 380 speakers<\/strong>, and more than 900 investors<\/strong> with collective funds totaling 60 billion euros.<\/p>\n\n

A key factor in its success and identity, MWC25 Barcelona offers unique networking experiences and opportunities, an exceptional combination of exhibition, conference, the 4YFN startup platform, and the largest gathering of leaders supporting the digital economy. MWC and 4YFN anticipate the future four years ahead<\/strong> and represent the best opportunity to explore innovations and shape the future. The event brings together renowned brands, groundbreaking technologies, quality content, and top speakers.<\/p>\n\n

As every year, ARIES-TM supported 21 Romanian companies<\/strong> in presenting their innovations at the national pavilion at MWC, under the motto “romaniaIT. Creative Talent, Technical Excellence<\/strong>.” Among them are: ADMIN TOOLS, AROBS TRANSILVANIA SOFTWARE, AXIGEN MESSAGING, BE GROWEE, CARGO TRACK SOLUTIONS, HIGH CONTRAST, JUNO SOFTWARE, ONE SOFTWARE (Kodall), ORGANIZING GROUP (Cult of Coders), QUALTEH JR, QUASAR SOFTWARE RESEARCH, R SYSTEMS COMPUTARIS EUROPE, REDBEE SOFTWARE, RESHAPE DIGITAL, ROWEB DEVELOPMENT, SIMARTIS TELECOM, SOFT WARE TOGETHER (Deventure), SOFTECH, VISUAL FAN (Allview), WE AS WEB, and XMARTWARE CONSULTING.<\/p>\n\n

The program of the Romania stand included not only the presentation and promotion of the portfolio of products and technological solutions<\/strong> but also working meetings<\/strong>, discussions<\/strong>, and visits<\/strong> from the Consulate General of Romania in Barcelona, the Consulate General of the Republic of Moldova in Barcelona, and the Honorary Consulate of Romania in the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n\n

The presence of Romanian companies at MWC Barcelona 2025 highlights the ability of Romanian innovators to compete on the international market<\/strong>. This participation reflects not only their high level of technological expertise but also their commitment to contributing to the digital transformations shaping the future of the industry. Furthermore, their presence at such a large-scale event, alongside major global players, emphasizes the importance and impact that technologies developed in Romania can have on a global scale, opening new opportunities for partnerships and international collaborations.<\/p>\n\n

The organization and leadership of Romania’s delegation at MWC Barcelona 2025 was ensured by ARIES-TM (Romanian Association for Electronic and Software Industry \u2013 Timi\u0219oara), with the support of ARICE partners.<\/p>\n\n
